Working with PhD

  4. Control Remotec Thermostat with voice commands using PhD and the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa

Add Remotec Thermostat to PhD’s network

  1. On the Zinno app, press Left Menu Bar, then select “Devices”
  2. Select “+” button to put the PhD in inclusion mode, keep your thermostat close to PhD within 10 feet (3 meters)
  3. From the ZTS-500’s Standby screen, press > or < to navigate to the Z-Wave screen and the Z-Wave LED will continuously flash “Tap to Bind”, then tap “+”
  4. PhD will announce “Found Device”, and Zinno app will display the dialog box, asking user to interact with device one more time
  5. Repeat step #3, PhD will announce “The device is being added”
  6. If adding the device successfully, PhD will announce “Adding Remote Thermostat success” and on Zinno app will display the dialog boxes that indicate user has added device successfully
  7. Also, The “✔” symbol will be displayed on screen once the ZTS-500 is added into the network, and the Z-Wave disconnect icon will also be removed from the standby screen
